A Masterpiece of Tradition and Taste: timeless treasure born from the lush tea gardens of Fujian, China.
Crafted with unwavering dedication, this tea begins with the finest raw materials: tender spring buds and leaves, hand-picked from premium tea cultivars during the first flush of the season. These pristine leaves undergo an intricate process of initial and refined preparation to create a flawless tea base. Then, in the sweltering heat of midsummer—during the traditional "three dog days"—we pair this base with the freshest, highest-quality jasmine blossoms. Through approximately six meticulous rounds of scenting, or "schizandra," the tea absorbs the flowers’ essence, resulting in a harmonious blend that captures the soul of Fujian’s tea heritage.
The quality of Gymbach Fujian Jasmine Tea shines through in every detail. Its appearance is a work of art: tightly rolled, plump, and tender strips, adorned with delicate white downy tips, uniform and impeccably clean. This visual elegance hints at the richness within. The aroma is vibrant and spirited, a concentrated fragrance that lingers long after the first whiff, evoking the blooming jasmine fields of summer. Each sip reveals a taste that is refreshingly crisp yet deeply mellow, a perfect balance of floral sweetness and robust tea character. The liquor glows a tender green, bright and inviting, while the steeped leaves unfurl to reveal plump, soft, and lustrous buds—a testament to the tea’s exceptional quality.
Our Fujian Jasmine Tea, known as "Sparrow’s Tongue" for its delicate bud shape, traces its origins to 1956, a creation that has since earned its place among China’s finest. In March 1980, it was honored with the Fuzhou City Famous Brand Product Certificate by the Fuzhou Municipal Government. Decades later, in October 2011, it claimed the Gold Award at the 8th "Min Tea Cup" competition, hosted by the Cross-Strait Tea Industry Exchange Association, with a certificate personally signed by the legendary 100-year-old tea master Zhang Tianfu. That same month, it triumphed again, securing the Gold Award at the 2011 Fuzhou Jasmine Tea King Competition.
Gymbach Fujian Jasmine Tea is more than a drink—it’s a legacy of over a century, a celebration of nature’s bounty, and a tribute to the artistry of Fujian’s tea makers. Savor the tradition, taste the triumph, and let every cup inspire your senses.
